Assam Assistant Teacher Recruitment

The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam, has released a notification regarding the hiring of Assistant Teachers, Science Teachers, and Hindi Teachers (UP Schools) as well as Assistant Teachers (LP Schools). These vacancies are open to candidates who qualify for the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) or the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for UP Schools. This recruitment aims to fill 1750 positions for Assistant Teachers, Science Teachers, and Hindi Teachers in UP Schools and 3800 Assistant Teachers in LP Schools under the Directorate of Elementary Education.

Age Limits

  • Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years old
  • Maximum Age Limit for General Category: 40 years old
  • Maximum Age Limit for Ex-Servicemen: 42 years old
  • Maximum Age Limit for OBC/ MOBC: 43 years old
  • Maximum Age Limit for SC/ ST(P)/ST(H): 45 years old
  • Maximum Age Limit for Persons with Disability (PwD): 50.

Important Dates For Apply Online:-

  • Apply online from 10:00 AM on 02-01-2024 until 10:00 PM on 13-02-2024.

 

Scale of Pay: Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay other allowances as admissible as per “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019”.

Documents Required Before Apply Online:-

  • Passport Size Photograph.
  • HSLC Admit Card.
  • HSSLC Mark-sheet and Certificate.
  • Graduation mark sheet and Certificate.
  • Any other mark sheet and Certificate of higher education.
  • DElEd/ BEd Marksheet (1st Year & 2nd Year) and Certificate.
  • Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC).
  • Document in support of Permanent Resident of Assam.
  • Certificate and Mark sheet of ATET/CTET for UPS.
  • Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. authority.
  • Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board.
  • Scanned Signature.
