Eligibility criteria
Candidates should make sure they meet the eligibility criteria before applying for the HP TET exam. Here are the eligibility criteria for HP TET 2024:
- educational qualification:– Candidates must have a minimum educational qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) Relevant Subject from a recognized university or institute.
- age limits:- There is no upper age limit to apply for the TET. The age criteria are to be considered by the appointing authority at the time of appointment as per R&P Rules.
How long Is HP Tet Eligibility Certificate Valid?
validity of hp tet certificate:- The Validity Period of the HP TET qualifying certificate for appointment will be for a lifetime for all categories. There will be no restriction on the number of attempts a person can make to acquire a TET certificate. A person who has qualified for TET may also appear again to improve his/her score.

HP Tet 2024 Exam Date Admit Card
HP TET shall be held at the District/Sub-Divisional Headquarters and a few identified
places near the District/Sub-Divisional Headquarters. The Himachal Pradesh teacher eligibility test is conducted from 22-06-2024 to 02-07-2024 by the HP Board of School Education. Admit Card can be downloaded from the Board’s Website www.hpbose.org 4 days before the exam.
Selection Process – HP Tet June 2024
The HP TET exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and is conducted in offline mode. The exam is two and a half hours, and it is conducted for a total of 150 marks. The minimum qualifying marks for the HP TET exam are 60% for general candidates and 55% for SC, ST, OBC, and PH candidates.

How To Apply For Hptet 2024?
The HP TET application process is entirely online. Candidates can apply for the exam through the official website of the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE).
- Visit the official website of HPBoSE i.e. www.hpbose.org; click on the “CET / Vacancy” Option and then select the HP TET – 2024 link for filing the online application.
- After the successful submission of data/details, an Application number will be automatically generated. Candidates should keep their Application Number for future references.
- If the application number is forgotten then click on “Forget Application No.” and the application number can be retrieved.
- Upload valid details, photos, and signatures and submit the declaration.
- For Online activity access and to download Admit Card use “Application Number” as ID and Date of Birth as password.
- Candidate should keep a Print of the confirmation page with him/her.
- Remember your Application Number as User and Date of Birth as password.
